Mackinac Island Michigan is charming - it harkens back to a bygone day, with historic Victorian architecture, horse-drawn carriages (no cars allowed) and picturesque natural beauty. But the surrounding water is the real story, at least for me! Lake Huron is pristine, and the view from its rocky shoreline is stunning! Any place water is in view, a sense of calm prevails, and even while painting water, I feel much more at ease and tranquil. This painting is for anyone who craves that kind of serenity and grounding!
